Osseo Area Schools is searching for a new superintendent to succeed Dr. Kate Maguire, who will retire effective June 30, 2018.
The Osseo School Board is seeking input from students, staff, parents/guardians, and community members regarding the most important qualities of a superintendent. Stakeholders can provide input at community meetings, through an online survey, or by sending an email message to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The input gathered through January 25, 2018 will be used in two ways:
- To identify the top qualities stakeholders are looking for in a new superintendent; this information will help the search firm recruit candidates.
- To inform the School Board’s decision making as it selects a new superintendent.
This website will be updated on a regular basis as the search progresses. Interested stakeholders may also find information in the district’s parent/guardian e-newsletter, 279Connect; in local media; through the district’s social media accounts; and through school-based communications.
All superintendent search-related school board work sessions are either audio recorded or video recorded and are available on the district website.
