Site Progress Reports &
Improvement Plans
<<< Back
Osseo Area Schools are committed to continuous improvement. In order to
systemize this process, each school has a Site Council comprised of the principal,
teachers, support staff, and parents who monitor and adjust improvement efforts
each year through a formalized School Improvement Plan.
The process begins with an analysis of data. Test scores, samples of student
work, and surveys are examples of data that our schools use to determine
their strengths and weaknesses. Through a shared decision-making process,
the staffs and site councils agree to goals each year to provide a focused
systemic effort to improve.
Once the needs are identified, performance targets are set. Action plans
that are developed to support the goals are monitored and evaluated regularly.
At the end of the year, the data is analyzed again to determine the level
of progress that was made on the goal, and the improvement cycle begins again.
For summaries of the progress that each of our schools is making
on their School Improvement Plans, and copies of the current years School Improvement Plan, please contact the individual school.
