District 279 encourages you to be informed about and involved in public education--there
are many opportunities for parents and community members. We welcome your
involvement in a school's parent/teacher organization, as a volunteer in
a school, through serving on a school's site council, as a member of the
Legislative Network, on one of the many advisory committees, or assisting
in the activities of the District 279 Foundation.
