The magnet schools in Osseo Area Schools are members of the Northwest Suburban Integration School District (NWSISD) magnet school program. Magnet schools are public schools of choice, offering comprehensive, high-quality, thematic curriculum intended to attract students from a wide range of racial, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
- For Weaver Lake and Birch Grove: Apply to enroll through Northwest Suburban Integration School District.
- For our other magnet schools (which have attendance areas): If you live within the attendance area for your desired school, enroll through the Osseo Area Schools Enrollment Center.
- If you live elsewhere within the Osseo School District OR in one of the seven NWSISD member districts (see list below): Apply to enroll through Northwest Suburban Integration School District.
- If you live in a non-NWSISD-member district: Apply for open enrollment. Admission is contingent on space availability.
NWSISD is a collaborative of eight area school districts providing schools and communities with a variety of programs and services to promote racial equity and cultural awareness. The seven member districts of NWSISD include Anoka-Hennepin School District, Brooklyn Center Schools, Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose Schools, Elk River Area School District, Fridley Public Schools, Osseo Area Schools, and Rockford Area Schools.
