Letter of Intent to Apply for School Choice

The Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) allows 9^th grade students to compete in senior high school athletics. Ninth-graders who plan to open enroll into an ISD 279 senior high school other than the one assigned to their residence and who wish to participate in 9^th grade athletics at their senior high school of choice must “declare” their intent to continue to be enrolled at that senior high for grades 10‑12. To obtain the Declaration form, please log on to Park Center’s website, www.district279.org/sec/pcsh and go to “Athletics: Registration Forms” or the form can be obtained in the Athletic Office at Park Center.

Important: While 9^th graders may participate in their senior high school of choice, all 7^th and 8^th grade students must participate in programs at the senior high school assigned to their residence.
