ISD 279, Safe and Drug Free Schools and Communities Program,
in cooperation with our families and communities, will actively
promote healthy student lifestyles
in a safe school and community environment.
Program Goals
To reduce tobacco, alcohol and other drug use in ISD 279 and communities.
To reduce violence and increase safety in ISD 279 and communities.
To increase students' protective factors and assets.
To teach students skills that will support then in making healthy lifestyle choices and improve academic achievement
