Policy 414 - Mandated Reporting of Child Neglect or Physical or Sexual Abuse

- In accordance with M.S. 626.556 - Reporting of Maltreatment of Minors, the District requires the reporting of suspected physical abuse, sexual abuse, or neglect involving minor children whether occurring in the home, school, or community.
- Any employee or agent of the District who knows or has reason to believe a child is being neglected or physically or sexually abused, or has been neglected or physically or sexually abused within the preceding three years, will immediately report the information to the local welfare agency, police department, county sheriff , or other required agency .
