On Feb. 15, two highly talented groups of student musicians from Osseo Senior High performed at the Minnesota Music Educators Association Midwinter Clinic, an honor only afforded to 32 performing groups across the state representing all levels from elementary schools to colleges. The Osseo Senior High Symphony Orchestra (pictured below) performed under the direction of Christa Saeger-Dean and was the only orchestra group from a school in Minnesota to perform. The Osseo Senior High Chamber Choir (pictured above) performed under the direction of Margaret Sabin.
The Minnesota Music Educators Association is the premier professional association for music educators, and its mission is to provide high-quality music education for every student. Each group applied to participate and were chosen by the organization to perform. It is a rare honor to have two groups selected to perform from the same school.
